Full Disk Access
To browse ~/Documents,
~/Downloads,
~/Desktop,
and other protected directories, grant Full Disk Access to cmux:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access → add cmux
Without this, macOS will block access and those directories will appear empty or return permission errors.
